Additive to increase TBN

In looking at various used oil analysis (granted I'm a novice) I see many with excellent wear yet have decreased TBN levels.

Are there any oil additives that will specifically increase TBN's and thereby increase OCI's?

There are for diesel oil. I'm not sure about gas. Power Service Diesel Lube Oil Extender is one. Most truck stops also have TBN boosts for diesels.

The highest-TBN additive I've ever seen was "Oil Xtreme". The stuff has a TBN of 320. That's not a typo, honest to *** 320 TBN.
I can't vouch for the additive. I will say *ONE* BITOG member had a very good experience with "Oil Xtreme" motor oil where the stuff's overloaded calcium prevented an antifreeze leak from hurting his car *AT ALL*.
One UOA is hardly a worthwhile sample, and while I have no evidence in either direction on their additive product, it stands to reason that you could dope your oil with their stuff and keep its TBN in the acceptable range more or less forever. Bad idea, though. Once the oil oxidizes, you'll just be holding back crap oil from oxidizing worse.

Also, look up "Lube Control". Doesn't boost TBN, but it keeps TBN from dropping so quick.
