I should of added to the list: MMO in fuel with TC-W3 (I'm just starting this stacking of fuel additives, and still experimenting with the ratio) and a periodic PEA cleaning as needed, with Regane or Redline.

The Kano site is the only place I'm aware of that sells Kreen.

For years I never used additives, but recently I used a bottle of Regane in 3 vehicles with MMO following in the gas, and soon I'm going to add some MMO in my daily driver RAV oil, since it looks like some varnish is building up. It's not bad, so I'll add a light dose for 500 miles then do an oil change, repeat as I think necessary.
I'm also running MMO now in the gas for two motorcycles and OPE.

That's it. While I only buy used cars, if I needed to de-sludge an engine, I wouldn't buy the car. There are plenty out there, and I don't want the headache.

I used some Kreen in my wife's car. It was 6 years old and had 50K miles on it. I ran the Kreen for 1000 miles.
When I changed the oil in her car, I used Camguard Auto as a supplement.
I plan to try Camguard Auto as an oil supplement in my car. According to Ed Kollin, it helps reduce wear.
The only other products I would consider putting in the oil are Schaeffer Neutra (for cleaning), ARX (for cleaning), and Lube Control.

mmo in gas only, zddp plus in crankcase. change oil early 3,000, to keep it clean. i was running about two times the mmo rec. then my check engine light came on stoped all mmo for a while, light went out. i was runing mmo in a upper olier, and in the tank. in a week or so ill start adding a smaller amount of mmo. how ever i dont know that the extra mmo caused the engine light to come on.

I'm using Auto-Rx and dyno oil, in a couple of cars. I'm also using it in some generator sets that live in really cold conditions. In side by side testing of two gen sets a maintenance does of Auto-Rx is worth the expense. It appears that Auto-Rx has some ability to resist wear when mixed at a maintenance level. After 2 years of brutal conditions the gen set with the Auto-Rx when torn down showed oil rings in perfect condition and other high wear areas in better shape, like valve train parts. The gears that are lubricated by the oil system were like brand new and in the other gen set there were noticeable wear patterns that were getting beyond the depth of heat treating. The patterns were wide and dull looking. The hardness was down about 20 points on the Rockwell tester and the lash was out of spec. The only difference was the maintenance dose. It appears that most of the emphasis here on BITOG is on liquid solutions and analysis but we look at mechanical things for answers as well. For us it's worth the trouble and I understand that an owner of a transportation vehicle has no such option.

Every oil change a bottle of either Redline SI-1, Seafoam or Regane. (I no longer use Lucas products).
In the oil, usually in the colder weather 1/2 to 1 qt of MMO for the duration of the OCI.
in hotter weather I put a bottle of Valvoline synpower Oil treatment in. I got the stuff for a penny when AZ was clearing it out. I have about 20 of them left. Also have quite a few of the Maxlife Oil Treatments.
I have no idea if they're helping or hurting, but I'm using them. After they're all gone, I'll just stick with Synpower by itself.
In the Tranny.. Lubegard Red is now a requirement because it works, and it's a great preventive maintenance additive.
And usually regular ATF. My 06 Relay will get Redline D6 (with Lubegard just because).

i run zddp, cause i worry about epa making automotive oil makers take zinc out of engine oil.

i just ordered KREEN. for cleaning, cant wait to try it
Lube Control, for cleaning & anti-oxidation.
I also use an LC/Schaeffer's 132 mix in all our cars.
I don't use any adds in my oil because I use M1-EP in everything. I think the EP stands for extra plenty!
