Tommorow I will be draining out 1/qt of my Mobil 1 Extended Performance 10w30 and adding a quart of the Mobil 1 Extended Performance 15w50. Reason being is as some of you may know, I posted a thread alittle while back about my engine making a "rattle" sound coming from the valve covers. I see the 10w30/15w50 is a popular mix, so I will try this and report back if my engine is any quieter.
I should've known better. When I changed my oil not too long ago, I was debating between 10w30 and 5w30, DUH! I was fearing the last time I had this rattle problem with Mobil 1 when I ran 5w30 SS last year. Had I take that into more consideration than I did, I would've gone Mobil 1 Truck and SUV,,,,,AR
