Adding castrol edge with titanium to castrol gtx

Could not find lubro moly mos2 locally,wondered if adding castrol w/ titanium to gtx would bump up the titanium,moly and boron a bit?


If a voa has 30 titanium for example,the 30 titanium won't increase with added liters right ?

Just a thougt I had. Here to learn .

Edge is a good oil and so is GTX. Adding either to the other is not going to make either any "better" so just use the oil.

If you have some left over and not enough for a OCI then its okay to add it to what you have. No harm will be done. But no benefit either (other than using up the excess quarts)

There will not be an appreciable increase or benefit with the small amount of Edge added to the GTX. It is fine to mix them though.

Yea I was thinking 3L gtx 1L edge titanium to make a full fill. Or half and half when my stash is almost gone.

Still would not make it benifitial 3/1?

Just looking for the extra placebo effects of more friction modifiers lol

Just buy Kendall syn-blend with Titanium.

It will still be a syn-blend, and will have a LOT more Ti in it - Kendall has about 100ppm.....
