Adding a Drain Plug to your 10R80 ($80 aluminum pan)

No, this isn't a how-to.

No, I'm not affiliated with the company in any way. It was just brought to my attention that there's a new player in the 10R80 aluminum drain pan market and the price is almost too good to be true. From the looks of the pictures, it doesn't look to be as stout as the PPE/Mishimoto pans, but for $80, if I didn't already have one, I would certainly give it a go.

For reference, the PPE and Mishimoto's are around $300 give or take. Dorman also makes a plastic pan for about $50, but in typical Dorman style, they apparently leak.

That looks like a standard capacity one too. Which is nice in something like a Mustang where ground clearance is at a premium.

This, and if it is a PPE clone, then it holds a bit more than stock as well. PPE confirmed for me that their shallow pan actually holds about 3/4 of a quart more.

It looks like they took a PPE and trimmed out as much material as possible on the fins. Leaving just enough for some structure.
