Acura Maintenence Minder

I've got a quick question, maybe you guys can help me out.

My wifes Acura has a maintenance minder, basically an oil life monitor. But it also reminds you of other maintenance items needed, like cabin air filter, transmission and diff fluids, etc. Basically when the oil life gets low, it throws you a code like A2 or B3, you look up the code, and get the maintenance done.

Most of the ones we've had are just oil, or oil and air filter etc. We've only had one so far that recommended a diff fluid change as well. Once you do the change, you reset the monitor and it goes back to 100% oil life. Fairly straight forward.

Now here's my question, this fall I wanted to get an oil change in before it got cold, so I changed the oil a bit prematurely at around 30% oil life left. I reset the olm after I did this, but I reset it before it got a chance to throw a code and tell me what maintenece was due. I'm concerned that by reseting it prematurely, I might have wiped of one of the major maintenance items before it got to give me the code.

IWhat do you think? Did I mess it up? Is there any way for me to check this?

If it is like the one on my Honda, you can't look it up after you reset it.

I would say go to an Acura forum that is on your model and see what others are getting around your milage or number of changes.

Most people on the CR-V forums get the same codes at the same milage/ oil changes.

I would say that is your best bet.

Nahh! Don't be such a worrywart.

Unless you are anayal about the maintenance schedule minder part (which I don't with my 07 fit), most of them are tyically things like "check your tie rod ends for play, ball joints for play, inspect this, inspect that, which granted that you are mechanicall-competent (if not, bring it into the stealership for servicing and be over with it), can be performed personally with full confidence in, say, 1/2hr tops?)

Yeah most of them I don't worry about. I just remember we had a major service around 40,000 kms, and I reset it just before it hit 80,000. The car has been absolutely flawless so far, so I really don't want to give any reason for it to break down. I'm worried that maybe a change transmission fluid came up, and I don't feel comfortable running the old fluid another 80,000 before I change it.
