ACDelco PF63 C&P

That looks different than the ones I still have (forget from what year). I bought 12+ when the PF63E’s came out. The filters have to be fine because cars are now $100k that the filters are going on, so I’d use the one pictured by OP…
 
Will this filter fit where pf48 is called for?
I don’t think that’s a given. Our car came with a PF63 from the factory. The 2010 had the PF48.

What I discovered is the PF63 obstructs the AC charge port. As if GM simply put the PF63 on in 2011 when 2008-2010 had the PF48 (Traverse/Acadia/Enclave). Point being it could be too long or obstruct something. In my case I had a panic scenario where I had no way to remove the filter with the AC charge kit in place (I removed the filter, connected the hose, put the filter back, ran the engine to charge AC). I only hand tightened and now it could not be removed by hand nor could any type of wrench get in there. Cap nor band, really nuts. Next time if doing the AC charge I’ll have a PF48 installed allowing needed clearance….
