ACDelco PF63 C&P, 3.5k Miles

Changed oil on Dad's truck Monday. 2022 Silverado 1500 with the L84 5.3, DFM engine, but no DFM software in PCM -- so runs as a V8 at all times.

About 3,500 miles on this run.

OUT: 8.5qts Mobil 1 FS Euro 0W-40 and ACDelco PF63
IN: Same

I have no complaints on this filter. Nitrile ADBV is still very pliable. Media spacing looks great. Engine seems to be very clean, which it should be with 20k on the clock.

By the time I top these off to the top line on the dipstick I've used almost 8.5 quarts. On this one and my 24 Tahoe 8 quarts in and running they're near the bottom of the hash on the stick.

you have to shut these off on level ground for 15 minutes before pulling the dipsticks

Half a quart of overfill is not an issue. I overfill my 6 quart sierra by a quart without symptom so I can go a long time without needing to check.
