ACDelco PF2232 - Producto de Mexico - Virgin C&P

This is an early-2025 produced ACDelco PF2232 virgin C&P. I received a case of 12 of them from Amazon for just under $26 a couple weeks ago to use in several 6.6 Duramax powered GMs.

Something must have changed in the past few years as all my prior PF2232s had been made in the US, whereas this case was made in Mexico. After receiving, I went to Walmart, AAP, AutoZone, and O’Reillys to hunt down a US made one to compare, but no luck. Any idea who is making these for ACDelco? The date code is one I’m not familiar with from the usual suspects.

Interesting I didn't know they made any of the blue cans in Mexico, I use PF47E

Looks like a new Champ Labs factory in Mexico ( or has it been there for a while ?? ) with great QC except for the spring but looks like not as bad as the U.S springs.

I can only add that those louvers are mesmerizing. Not just because the centre core stamping die was properly maintained.
