Ive got a Sebring Convertible with the 2.7 liter V6 and 130,000 miles. Went to test the AC which always worked in the past but got no cold air and could hear a "hiss" in the vents when the AC was turned on. Bought some R134 and it took a charge, the compressor engaged and the air cooled like it should and I put dye in the line. After checking this morning, ive got what appears to be a slight leak on the suction line where the rubber hose is crimped to the metal line. AC is still cold so I don't know how much I have actually lost. Is replacing the low pressure line something I can do at home and just take it somewhere to be fully evacuated/recharged? Is it even worth messing with?
