I got this info from acdelco's customer service the other day.

We appreciate your e-mail regarding the specifications for the ACDelco PF47
oil filter.

The specifications we have available are as follows:

Micron rating = 25-30
Flow rate = 3 gallons per minute

I have no idea what they mean my micron rating, I asked for percentages or beta ratios. For all I know they could mean 2%, nominal, or absolute.
I also asked about oil flow because I hear lots of talk about high efficiency filters being to restrictive and wanted to compare flow rates.

Only 3 GPM flow? That's it?

Wow. The dealer put one on the Park Avenue. That'll be the last one that it ever sees.

The same filter as a NAPA Gold shows 7-9 GPM flow.

Also, notice that it says "If you require assistance in the future,please visit our website again."

It DIDN'T say to ASK again, it said to visit the website again...

Then put a 52 on then.

can your pump do more then 3 gpm? probably not..
