AC Delco made in Poland

Hey folks. It's been so long since I posted that I can't remember my password . . . changed my email too . . . so I had to register again...

Anyway, I got a case of AC Delco PF47C filters from a Canadian Chevy dealer selling on eBay . . . good price . . . $2 per filter delivered. They are white with two inverted grooves around the can. The filter is heavy, the can seems thick, and looking through the center tube, it looks like there are a lot of pleats in the media. (I haven't cut one open yet.)

Strangely, they are made in Poland. Anybody know about Polish AC Delco oil filters? (No jokes please. My grandparents also came from Poland.

I just bought a case of PF48 filters from the local Chevy dealer .... case of 12 in a thin box with dividers... filters not in individual retail boxes. Filters made in USA. Sticker on box from AC/Delco ...
Separate shipping addressed directly to the dealer from AC Delco.

$ 3.48 each.

I just bought 6 PF52's and I believe they're made by Wix. Silicon ADBV and 6 evenly sized inlet holes. However, I don't see anything on them about being made in Poland...

Could you PM me the link to where you got them? It says it fits for my sister's Daewoo Leganza, and I'd like to try some.

You could try searching "PF47" on eBay. The seller had maybe a dozen cases for sale the last couple of weeks, but nothing right now. I suspect they over-ordered and were dumping excess stock.

Some guy on eBay is selling what appears to be a pretty old AC Delco PF47, and the picture looks just like the new Polish ones . . . two grooves . . . unevenly spaced holes in the base . . . very strange . . .

They're back on eBay, but the price went up. The price varied in the past, so maybe it will be re-listed lower.
