I was considering the ultragaurd UPF44 for my 6.0L, but read somewhere that the duragaurd (standard) PF46 filters to 10 microns and contains both syn. and paper media. Is that correct? Is there any other benefits to the UPF44 that I am missing?
If so what about the PF61? Does this 10 micron standard apply to all duragaurds? At Walmart the new book lists the PF61 for my truck instead of the PF46. They appear to be the same other then length and the PF61 does not have a ADBV.
The lack of the ADBV should not be an issue based on instalation on this engine, correct? would the lack of the ADBV offer better flow, ie, less restriction? My GF's envoy uses the PF61 and it would be easier to keep one filter on hand for both.
Thanks
