Ac-Delco experts please!

Hope someone can help out there with an ac filter question.
Is there a PF-25 filter with a ADBV? I know that a PF-35 is the longer version and a PF-1218 is a PF-35 w/ADBV, but a PF-25 with ADBV??
And i know this has been discussed here before but is the ADBV necessary for a filter that is mounted in a vertical position?

There is no PF-25 equiv. that I know of, with an ADBV. There is a PF-454, that is a shorter version of the PF-25, that has an ADBV. The PF-454 is listed as the replacement for the PF-25.

You could also go with a K&N oil filter, the HP2002 is the cross reference for the PF25, and it's got the ADBV on it.

And yes, the ADBV is still beneficial for a vertical filter, as it keeps the area right above the oil filter full of oil on shutdown. Without the ADBV, the oil in that area would flow back to the pan when you shut off the engine.
