Greetings-
Can anyone recommend a safe for car AC condenser fin foam cleaner? Apparently, some cleaners can damage AC condensers.

And yet here we are 25 years down the road, using Simple Green to clean the AC. No corrosion what so ever.
Yeah, I heard about the corrosion issue after years of using it on aluminum parts without issue. Maybe if you soak them it might be a problem or could ruin a polished finish. Seems overblown but its now in my mind so even though I've had no issues, I worry about it

thank you. Will get one. Hope it can fit between the radiator and the condenser. How much water pressure can it handle?
I just always hook it to a garden hose from an outside faucet so I'm not sure about the water pressure. I have used it successfully for years without damage to any radiator or condenser.

It depends on your specific vehicle whether or not it fits in between the two. Sometimes you have to take off a cover or plate on top of the core support to get good access.

No rinse evaporator cleaner is very gently, and yes you can use it on the condenser. Just rinse it off after. Don't use caustics as that will eat away at some of the aluminum and on and old coil it may be the last straw. Simple green works well and is gentle.
