Was caught up in a Catch-22 scenario with a credit card at Synchrony Bank. In my view, PayPal who removed my links at their site caused the Catch-22 event. In less than 15 minutes they accepted my payment via the phone and treated me like a king to prevent my payment from being late. (they are much nicer when you're giving them money)
The part that is my fault is that I lost the card sometime in March 2025 and could not even provide an account # or CVC to rebuild the link at PayPal. I had not used the card since 7-24 for my Mint Mobile yearly payment. Well this years payment was not on auto pay, but I failed to see which card was tagged. Because PayPal removed my payment link for the PayPal World Mastercard I could not pay my bill. I'm just happy that all went smoothly. Have 2 other Accounts at Synchrony, so maybe this helped grease the gears..
