It was nice to see a Chevy auto win, but a Ford would have been ok. Is that old saying still true, " What wins on Sunday, sells on Monday?"
For the first time in years, mainly since my young sons had interest, I sat down to watch an entire NASCAR race. I think I am good for another 10 years. After spending millions on the new race design, this is the improvement? The only time it was interesting at all was when Jr. tried to make a move, which was a lap or two late. What a boring race. NASCAR, please take the restrictor plates off for a more entertaining and SAFER race!
I think she did well. But at the end it looked like the boys followed their favorites and left her out there. But thats ok, her respectable finish will change alliances in the future. The gen 6 broke up this pushing thing that was going on leaving it back to skill and reliability. The Toyotas were dropping engines left and right at the end. Think GibbYota lost his whole fleet.
For what it's worth, Danica Patrick started first, but surrendered the lead to Jeff Gordon on the first lap.
