Is there a comment or some context that comes with this picture?
Nope, just a quick shot of the amazing exhaust stacks and the artwork they created.
A quick Wiki lookup says they had dual row, 18 cylinder engines. Does that mean 18 or 36 cylinders total?

Two rows of nine each. 18 total.
Four rows of seven was the R-4360 Wasp Major, the largest piston aircraft engine ever built.

There's a huge radial engine in the old Pratt & Whitney works in Paterson, NJ.
It's small compared to the Wasp's variants.
The zig-zag canal designed by A. Hamilton, while filled with sediment and disused, is still plainly visible and worth the look.
The Passaic River is tapped just upstream from the falls and the resulting water flow was used to power factories.
These include Colt's pre-Connecticut plant. It features firearms many of today's shooters wouldn't recognize as Colts.
