I've got a 2019 LT that has knocking noise which sound like they're coming from the trunk at lot more than I thought before doing a couple things.

First I took all my loose items in the trunk and threw them in a shoebox and also checked to see if the spare tire was loose.

Then something told me to turn the radio off and now I hear knocking every time I hit a bump or a manhole cover etc.

I did some searching on the interwebs and found out there is a TSB but its only 2016-2018, not 2019.

Did GM put in the revised knuckles on the 2019s or does the issue still persist?

Mileage is 75xxx.

I don't know anything about the revised knuckle but my wife's 2016 Malibu had that same knocking sound. I replaced the rear shocks last fall with OEM from rock auto and the sound went away ( at least for now).

Did the sound also occur when accelerating from a dead stop with yours?

Had same noise on my Venza, check if it's a sway bar bushing. $30 part to fix the Venza. Getting to the bushing, a different story. Might be an easy fix.

I noticed the last 2 times I had a passenger the noise quieted down quite a bit. The more weight in the car the less clunking I hear.
