9mm sockets and wrenches

my :confusion: was where some GM geek/nerd/whatever name you can think of - who came up with the 4.5mm socket that apparently was needed for some ignition part.
 
My set skipped 18mm but they're all over the front end of my saturns.

Think I used my 9 on a bicycle something or other.

You even use the 9mm on occasionaly on stuff behind trim on Fords.

That explains why I never used mine.
 
Have gotten to the point that I'll make tool truck dealer exchange 9's for an extra 8 or 10 when I buy a set. They don't like it much, but you can bet their turning them back in for credit.

8, 9, 10 and 13 are very common on bicycles.

the one I can't figure out is why sets don't come w/ a 20mm; it doesn't exactly convert to a SAE size. every set I've seen goes from 19mm to 21mm.
