99 Explorer ATF Change

On a 99 Explorer is there anything preventing me from pumping out ATF thru the dipstick tube ? Are there any sharp turns on the way down to the pan that may prevent the tubing from the siphon pump from reaching the bottom ?
Also what would be a good size of tubing to use ?

There should be no problem, 1/4"-3/8" should work. What are you planning to use to extract it? You'll get more out if it sits over night, less will come out but a little easier after the fluid is warm.

Thanks Demarpaint. I am planning to buy a siphon pump . I am looking around the web for something in the $100 range . Are there any that I should avoid or should look for . I would like to use the pump for other fluids as well .
