98 Accord P1456 causes - Thx!

My friend's 1998 Accord, 155K, threw a P1456 trouble code. I replaced the gas cap with a Honda cap 1 year ago (about 12K) as it was throwing this code fairly regularly.
I told Cindy to make sure she tightens it using the 3 click method...

I will inspect the gas cap, but it seems unlikely it would be bad this soon. I believe this is a common Honda problem. I will look for any cracked hoses, etc.
Any advice on a likely cause? Thanks in advance.

Likely needs a 2 way valve and a bypass valve if no leaks found

my 99 accord has been doing that for years now, tried the gas cap, didn't work so apparently a leak somewhere. doesnt seem to affect anything with my car so I let the light shine on ...only way i can see this a problem is if you need an emission inspection..

On some cars a CEL for anything will disable the cruise control and cause the cruise control light to flash, talk about annoying.

I've been noticing that as we went to DBW throttle bodies
Gen 2/3 Prius kill the cruise with a CEL, but my xB² doesn't
