Those older Accords were great cars - reliable, easy to work on, pretty good on fuel(don't expect Prius or Metro MPG from one though). Honda was a big proponent of double-wishbone suspension on their mass-market cars in the 1990s - even though the Civic and Integra got a lot of press by boy racer mags for road holding, the Accords were just as good(there was an SiR version sold in Japan with the Prelude's motors).
Just make sure the valves are adjusted, the usual stuff is taken care of and I think you'll be fine.
