I'm replacing a radiator and the upper / lower coolant hoses, and while looking at the Autozone repair guide I found either a very generic "disconnect hose clamp from both ends" instruction, a water pump replacement instruction that disconnect the hose after timing belt is removed, or the radiator replacement instruction that just disconnect the hose clamp and hose from the radiator.

The lower hose's water pump end seems to be very hard to reach, as it is below the alternator and other stuff. Is it doable without removing other stuff? or should I just wait till the water pump leaks and then replace the lower hose?

This is the autozone photo.

I was told by another guy on feoa that if the clamp is oriented wrong I have to remove the serp belt first.

Once the radiator's out of the way you'll have a lot more room to get at it. It'll probably have an OEM squeeze type clamp, its orientation shouldn't be much of a problem. If you have to take off the serpentine belt, it won't be a big deal with the radiator not being in the way. Might be time to think about a new belt since you'll have it torn apart anyway. The hose being stuck to its nipple will probably be more troublesome than the clamp. Slit the hose lengthwise with a jackknife at the end, then work it loose with a flat screwdriver. Be sure to use stainless aviation clamps when you put the new hoses on, the OEM clamps are pretty much one use only.

As pictured, you get at this from the wheel well. A cover probably must be removed.
Swinging the tensioner, and moving the belt out of the way does not mean you have to completely remove it. It just makes access easier.
