Oh I was on some of the Facebook groups, but I found them to be different.

Oh they still b*tch about the 6L80E there too. LOL. I have not heard much about the 90E. Most the 90Es that I see fail there are due to lack of maintenance. They are 45,000 mile service transmission. The lowest one I can think of was at 128,000, but he towed and never did the service, plus lifted on 35's. That will kill some good transmissions.

I think it really depends on if you tune the V4 out or not. If you do I think it’s much better for the transmission and truck overall. I’ve driven a few of the 6 cylinders and I found that they go into V4 much less and it’s a totally different feel.
