5w20's for fuel diluters

There wouldn't be a difference in fuel dilution, but there may be a difference in which oil maintains its viscosity better. That's a big maybe though...

*How would the 5W30 look in the Valvoline Advanced Full Synthetic (perhaps better for a 5,000 mile OCI) ?

Fumoto.

I would use this oil with short OCIs.
Base oil does appear to be all hydrocracked per density and SDS.
How much do you value that high PAO content in Mobil 1 Extended Performance ?

Buster, just put 1 qt 5w30 in the mix. Been doing this for years with the old subaru FB engine - except it was 10W40 viscosity booster in those. No need to tell anyone

I ran that Advanced 5w30 in the Nissan. It was the best oil ever in there other than the "introduction batch" of 5w30 Magnatec Semi Syn.

That was a special batch with special sauce. It was never the same.
