1999 Toyota Camry, has a bad inner tie rod at 170K. Decided to replace both inners as well as outer ends.

RockAuto had some Beck Arnley on closeout for next to nothing, so I chose those. What I received in the BA box was a "555" brand. I've never heard of them. Given it's a critical part, are these okay to use and has anyone heard of the brand?

Awesome, thanks for the replies. The "555" was suspicious, but I doubted some manufacturer with the intention of putting out low quality / cheap parts would have it made in Japan. I knew in advance that Beck Arnley doesn't manufacture their own parts, but am surprised that something relatively high quality was inside for just a few bucks each.

Yeah, I'd never choose B&A because it is a lottery what you'd get, but you got lucky this time as that is about as good as it gets for that part, doubly so for getting it at a clearance price!

I'm not suggesting that B&A pimps junk, just that there is no assurance what is in the box. Someone could order the same B&A part # today and get something else, not a Sankei part.
