…that’s what the text I just received from the Toyota dealer who did the recall service on my RAV says.

I thought Toyota trucks were all selling at MSRP or above? Maybe the engine problems are starting to impact sales?
 
I would stay away from the Tundra for now. Tacoma? Meh.

I went in to see what the availability of the new Rav4 was. What a joke. 6 month wait (Western Canada), if you configure your own.

If you want something off their lot, they tack on all these extras which increase the monthly lease amounts substantially and it is just not worth it. I was looking at a Tuscon 2025 N line hybrid, but the mileage you get out of it is not the same. The tech is better. However, I don't have enough information on its long term reliability. Another thing here is that it is not naturally aspirated, and as we know turbos require additional care. But the biggest thing? No spare tire!

Tacoma needs a supercharged 3.3 liter V6 or 4.4 v8. The Chevy Colorado originally had a V8 option.
