I remember when I had a gravel driveway we specifically poured a concrete pad to be my work shop -- I thought that was a HUGE step up at the time -- almost 30 years agoIs it capable of completing the repairs as well? I think I’ll stick with cardboard, it builds character.
Judging by your name, we are in the same vicinity. Any chance you’d want to share which store? I’d love to grab some for the Cummins oil bath oil changesMy local hardware stores gets new stock of glass sheets every week. They come wrapped in cardboard, and that store gives it away.
I keep a decent stock of it against a cellar wall. If I get oil on a sheet I just throw it away.
Is that the one where you have to turn the oil filter sideways to get it out?Judging by your name, we are in the same vicinity. Any chance you’d want to share which store? I’d love to grab some for the Cummins oil bath oil changes.
Yes, once you drop the filter down inside the passenger wheel well, you then install a plastic filter plug and pull it out sideways. The plastic plug is a life saver though. Thats not even the worst part, pulling the drain plug and 3 gallons of oil coming out is like lying beside an elephant pissing. Is that the one where you have to turn the oil filter sideways to get it out?
