Introducing the 5starshine.

my story: i didnt like this product at all and i thought it was straight bull. i talked to chad, a representative, before and i really didnt listen, cause i didnt have much cash and i still didnt believe it.

then i thought latley that i have been spending alot of time washing and waxing all 3 of my cars.

i also thought that since many tried it and is pleased, even in snow and stuff, that i should try it as well.

price: the price for this product is a little high but it balances out with how much money i spend on wax. i spend:

8 dollars for soap
15 dollars for clay bar
10 dollars for all the wax
5 bucks some detailing stuff
and about 3 to 4 hours every 3 months.

so thats about humm...30 bucks every 3 months. now in one year that will cost me 120 bucks. idealy, so i was like **** this product in a way is cheaper.

my car before was really clean as alot of you noticed, its very shinny and i woiuldnt let anything harm the paint or use something that i am not sure about on this paint.

pic of the product. the bottles are small but i only used less than half on my entire car.

this wax was really easy to apply, but dont be stupid and leave it on for hella long, i made that mistake, i went to eat and an hour later i came back haha!!

now i let this car **** through **** . i parked it under a tree for a whole day and saw sap, bird **** etc. then i just rinsed it off with water and light pressure and it came off soo smooth and quick. i dont use soap and it really sheeeths water.

usually after just a couple of hours of sap on the car the wax is completley gone, but not with this. now with 45 minute washes i can now do it within 10 minutes and anywhere literally.

the shine of this product is very nice. its not hella deep but it is deep enough even for me. the differences between mequiars and this product is barley noticable.

It looks better than 90% of the cars out there.

I am totally not a 5-S-S believer. Too much hype/claims, not enough product.
I perfer something tried and true like Zaino or Klasse (both durable 9months) Condering I can get the Zaino for $12 for 12oz, makes more sense to me. (I usually only use about 3/4 oz/coat)
www.zainostore.com
Klasse: www.topoftheline.com]

also, not to be an areshole, but when you justify the cost by saying you will not have to pay for soap/clay/polish/etc is kindo of skewed. Won't you still be using that stuff anyway with the 5 star wax or any other wax?

Again, not trying to be mean, just trying to look at it from my point of view.

zaino is some good stuff...i seen wow with it. heheh. but now i have no time to apply layers of wax etc or take my time in detailing. this shie with 5 star is a "good enough" shine for me, and i do like clean cars.

if the pics are bad now thats cause i got banned from imagestation.com!!

lets add my van to 5 star shine.

been there for a month now and i only rinse it and every once in a while use a mit to get the dirt off and it still shines.

my van is a 99 mercury villager and sits outside in the sun all day, driven in construction zones.

Add my bimmer to the 5 star shine crew. Applied last Sep. water still beads and bird dropping still don't stick. It's hands down the finest finish, protectant available! Cost doesn't matter
I plan on rejuvenizing 5 star shine after one year. Who can claim and prove that after 6 months there finish still works like new. This car sits in the hot Alabama sunshine all day long and gets rained on regularly, it never gets garaged. I don't work for nor make any profit with 5 star, just my experience with an excellent product.

NuFinish will also last a year. It was on my 2002 Impala for 9 months outside and it still beaded water like it was just applied!

NuFinish=Junk!!! I have used quite a few polishes and waxes. The one that works the best so far is Klasse.

Chris B.,Are you still using nufinish today?
If not what are you using. The claim from 5 star shine is it'll last years as in plural not 1 yr but more than 1. I don't have any experience beyond the current. I applied last Sep. which makes it 9 months so far. They do recommend a special soap to wash with twice a year or every 6 months to remove and clean the finish extra good. What's also amazing is bird droppings and tree sap just wash off with the water no scrubbing needed. Can Nufinish protect like that?
Thanks for your feedback Chris.

Is this another pyramid scheme?

For $70 I can buy enough Klasse to last the rest of my life, its a proven product too.

These paragraphs should be an automatic red flag:

(Wash your car as usual, then repeat using our 5 STAR SHINE Polarizing Wash. This opens the paint's pores and puts a positive charge on the surface.)

Apply 5 STAR SHINE Protective Coating just like any wax or polish. This negatively charged protectant fuses to the positively charged surface with a powerful, electromagnetic grip. You're done!

Amkeer sorry but you are full of ca ca!

I'm a detail nut and I have tried just about everything on several cars durring the last 10 years and NOTHING lasts even close to as long as NuFinish and I have tried Klasse! I owned that Impala for 10 months(traided for my truck) and it had 2 coats of Nufinish on it for 9 months and sat out side durring the Colorado summer and winter and when I sold it is was still slick and beaded water like it was fresh!

I don't care what you say but NuFinish is a quality product that works as advetised!

I have not tried the 5 star shine so I can't say if it works as good as Nufinish. Also one of the few I have not used is Zaino but have read that it does have an incredible shine but it does not last long(less them a few months at best most report). Some might shine a little better then NuFinsh but not protect as well. I have some great pictures I wish I could post of my Camaro and Silverado but I don't have them on a CD. I will try to figure out how to do this and post pictures. The shine is great and very glossey with NuFinish.

Not sure what those guys are doing wrong. Every time I handwash my car, I am amazed at the return of the Zaino shine, even almost a year after applying it. Takes a few months worth of auto-washes to lose it, but that's from the accumulated film over the Zaino. Handwash it and it's back like no time has passed.

Amkeer, Don't knock something you have no experience with. Sounds like BS. I use 5 star shine, could care less if you believe me or not, it works for me. I will admit to being sceptical at first. Every one claim they are the best in one way or another. But being retired military and understanding that the Navy uses it, and realizing the punshment the ocean can do to a finish, I thought about giving it a try. I am extremely satisfied, and if you'll remove your blinders long enough you might realize that you don't know everything. This is why we all use this forum to learn and hear about other peoples experiences with products we might like to try. Sorry to rain on you but I feel like you went out of your way to insult my integrity. I have seen plenty of crap in my life to know it when I see it. If I said I did something you can believe I did it. Enough said! Sorry for going
