5-8 Year Old Motul Gear 300 Going In 14 FXT Rear Tomorrow

Motul Gear 300 75W-90

I've got some liters left over from my previous STI, plus a few liters I purchased from a member here back in October 2015 that I'll be using in front and rear diff's of both my Subies. The oil has been stored in my dehumidifier basement, which is always cool to cold.

The Forester rear is draining as we speak. I'll finish up tomorrow morning and move on to the Legacy rear. No idea when I'll get around to the fronts.

I don't have a problem using such old gear line. What do the rest of you think?

Wouldn't think twice about it I use Amsoil Series 3000 oil that is 10+ years old and never blink a eye pouring it in.

Just finished adding Motul Gear 300 to both the front and rear diff of the FXT.

I'll get the Leggy done through tomorrow, hopefully. I've got just enough gear oil left.
