Which is NOT recommended in the manual for that vehicle.Mobil 1- 5 quarts of 5W-20 and 2 quarts of 5W-30. Thinking of trying Mobil 1 0W-30
Since I'm the one that paid for it, I'll run what I choose.Which is NOT recommended in the manual for that vehicle.
How's it run on the r&p ? Notice a difference?I think the hemi is easy on oil-- 7 qt. sump and an engine that lopes along at 1500-2000 RPMs most of the time. I believe most any oil will perform well in the 5.7 hemi--I currently use Valvoline RP 5w-20.
If it's on the internet or in the manual it must be true .....lololWhich is NOT recommended in the manual for that vehicle.
Just don't tell anyone it's well maintained. Doctor says use Vaseline and you use Wesson Corn Oil. Love this forum. Better than Comedy Central.Since I'm the one that paid for it, I'll run what I choose.
0 W oils are good for close to -40*F0-40 and sleep well at night. unless it goes well below -20f no worries.
Good Plan for the Cheesehead State.2019 Ram. Wisconsin. I run PUP or Valvoline EP/RP 5W30 from April to Novemberish. And same oils but 0W20 from Nov-April.
I love the ep/hm ....running that now with 1 qt of restore and protect 5w30 of courseon the two that i service regularly one gets Valvoline EP HM 5w-30 and the other (at request from the owner) gets royal purple 5w-30.
And what the heck do you think is the reason that choice would be bad? Lol. Your comparison is not even close to the same thing.Just don't tell anyone it's well maintained. Doctor says use Vaseline and you use Wesson Corn Oil. Love this forum. Better than Comedy Central.
