5.7 plugs strut/shocks and belt.

The original belt was included with the procharger kit and thanks I will look at them for the vette and caddy
It's a function of emissions compliance. Second plug is an afterburn device, reducing HC's in the exhaust. Because of this, Ford and Chrysler had been able to soldier on with traditional port fuel injection longer where GM went DI earlier.

IIRC, the 5.7 Hemi had never gone DI and had always remained emissions compliant.

Pick your poison: deal with a potentially more expensive/troublesome DI system, or change extra spark plugs.

A 24 is my first DI but I am retired so plugs, even 16 of them would probably be changed either way.

16 plugs? What is your MPG?
It was much better after but could be because of the 17 mph winds going home mid 20s at very high speeds.90 between Illinois and Wisconsin is crazy, glad I only hit it occasionally.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and takes on this unplanned maintenance episode. Anytime you mod anything trouble just around the corner. Keep a modding fund. Also at my age I’m surprised that I never heard of the hose trick on the plugs,it it better than depending on the magnetic socket

If the GM cars came with iridium from the factory, then get the ACDelco iridiums because they're made by NGK and the same thing as the Laser iridium but a much better price :)

i was making a joke brother.

must get twice the mpg and twice the power........or not.

i dont understand ford or dodge with the double plugs
The hemi makes good power, but it’s “dirty.” That’s also why they’re no longer “true” hemis, they have to get the NOx emissions down, so we get a “hemi” with quench pads in the chamber and 2 plugs per cylinder.
