It is almost time for my 30K tune up for my truck. I got a question on what some of our fellow members brand of spark plug you have been using for magnum engines?

I would recommended the exact brand that came out.
I'd agree go with whats installed and don't use Bosch platinums.
I have an '04 Hemi, 58k on the meter right now. Changed the plugs out at 30k just like recommended. I think Champions or Autolites was what was in there so that is what I put back. If I have a chance I'll check my maintenance book to let you know for sure.
On some of the Dodge truck forums, the guys are going with the Iridium, platinum and other high money deals, they all claim huge improvements in performance and mileage. If I were a betting man, I'd bet that all their claims of improvement are wishfull thinking. Merely to justify spending dang near $150 on spark plugs.
With 16 plugs to change them $2 Champion or Autolites do a dang fine job. For difference in paying $10 a plug or $2 a plug, you'd have to save a lot of gas.

Dodge trucks always semed to prefer Champion plugs. I would and am just going to put th eregular Champion copper plus plugs in my Hemi when its due.
Thanks for the info. I was going to use copper plugs. I should have written that in my post. With this engine having 16 plugs there is no way I can pay 160 dollars for plugs that you should replace every 30K. So far champion plugs seem to be the way to go.
When it comes to spark plugs, dance with the one what brung ya.
