46# and 68# hydrolic oil

What is the difference between 46# and 68# hydrolic oil?Do hydrolic oils have groupI,II,III,PAO like motor oil?The temperature here between 5C in winter and 38C in summer,which oil should we use?Thank you.

46 vs. 68 is a viscosity difference. I would refer to the oem specs to determiner which should be used. Given your temp range a semi-syn or synthetic base stock would perform better than a petro base. Yes hy. fluids are made with diferrent base stocks just as motor oils are.
