The 75" TCL Roku TV model 75R635 bought from Best Buy not quite 4 years ago has just started displaying several red pixels on the right side bezel and a horizontal line across the entire screen about 10" up from the bottom. Thing had great ratings at R-tings.
I swapped out all HDMI cables, did a factory reset, checked for firmware updates... Google tells me about a T-con board...or not. Kind of annoying for a $1300 120hz TV not even 4 years old.
I'm thinking of getting rid and it and getting a TV with lower specifications and certainly less $$$.
While I love the Roku OS, I saw a 70" Samsung in Costco for $480:

Figure I can always plug a Roku stick or box into it.
What do you do with a 75" TV that otherwise works and looks great?
Also looking at LG 70". No more TCL. Have had great luck with Hisense so far and they do make a 75" Roku TV so that's in play too. Also, I need a digital optical output...not sure the lower end Samsungs have them.
