3rd auto-rx treatment

I completed two auto-rx treatments about 25,000 miles ago. Just for kicks I started my third treatment today. I used Castrol GTX 10w40 and plan to drive for about 3,000 miles before staring the rinse phase.

FYI, my last fill was a brew of Castrol Syntec 5w40 and 10w40. The removed filter had a few soft particles. Nothing major. Also, every filter since the previous RX treatments has shown the soft particles.

After you completed the 2nd treatment did you go on the Maintenance Dose because when you do this you never have to do a Clean and Rinse again.

Nope. This is one reason I am doing the third treatment.

I know this may sound odd but why did you not go on the Maintenance Dose because that is the only way too keep the gains you get from the Clean and Rinse Phases.

OMG there goes an automated ARX robot cut the guy some slack he clearly opted against the maintenance phase. Sometimes things are more complicated than clean. rinse. maintain. voila never problems again

I am just trying too help everyone out with the 2 bottles he is going too use he could have gone 12 OIL CHANGES with a Maintenance Dose of Auto-Rx, the Maintenance Dose is the heart of the Auto-Rx Program because it keeps the gains you have achieved during the Clean and Rinse Phases and you never have to clean your engine again it is posted on the site in the directions. This great I am now the AUTOMATED AUTO-RX ROBOT, but seriously I am just trying too help out and save people a little money and help them achieve the best gains.

Hey guys. I am only planning to do one treatment. I just think the previous two treatments were not complete enough as I think there is still some gunk still in there as a bit of ocassional lifter noise when hot. However it could be the Vanos system which tends to rattle a bit when older.

Car runs fine otherwise. May do the maintenance dose after completion.
