I have not had any increasing noise, actually has gone away since the weather has warmed up. One thing I did notice is that switching to synthetic oil seemed to help this issue (see sig). The alternator has plenty of tension on the belt, in fact, it's much tighter than I'm used to. I asked this question over on Toyota Nation and they seem to think it's just a noise problem. Some UOA's have backed this theory up as well. As of right now, I'm just going to let it ride.
