Hoping that's not the case with these. They fit really securely and don't budge. But i'll keep an eye out. Thanks.Looks good! They have those for my Equinox wheels as well.
The only issue you'll have is, these covers will scuff up the surface of the alloy wheels underneath. I've had wheel skins on vehicles in the past.
Much less labor to install (no prep needed)Did you consider plasti-dip and choose this for a particular reason instead? Just curious.
I'm surprised the thief even knew they were covers...unless it's more obvious up close than what your pics show?Went to Target a couple weeks ago. When I reached home and walked around the car, to my infuriating surprise, someone had stolen the covers off the passenger side. They also tried the driver side after further inspection. These are not like aftermarket hubcaps which are easy to remove so it took them some effort. They cover the actual alloy rim too, not steelies. Pissed? Oh yeah.
In response, I got chrome ones instead. Kids aren't into chrome so...fingers crossed.

I thought the same thing. It really is difficult to tell unless you walk up and tap them. This company now sells these to Toyota as well. Seen them on a youtube video affixed to a Tacoma for .....................................$800.I'm surprised the thief even knew they were covers...unless it's more obvious up close than what your pics show?
Personally I love black wheels with certain car colors. My kids know that if I ever got a "dream car" I would be white with black wheels. No offense taken. We all have our preferences.
I mean, cmon people. Are you telling me black wheels look cheap here?Personally I love black wheels with certain car colors. My kids know that if I ever got a "dream car" I would be white with black wheels.
That's exactly how i felt.That's infuriating.
I really LIKE that paint color. It is kinda like a cross of blue/silver. What is the General's OE factory paint name? Nice.
Reminds me of the rim to rim complete wheel covers on old time Cadillacs.I guess they consider a hubcap something that goes over a stealy. These are the same design as the alloy rim they cover.
I am not a huge fan of black wheels on the Malibu - as you said, it's a matter of personal preference - but I will tell you that the wheel skins look like nice black wheels: they look sweet! I bet they're easy to clean as well.I'll take better pics when I clean the car and in bright daylight. They fit over your existing rims (mine were silver) with locking clips. Very secure.
