22r oil pump gear orientation...

So i'm finally assembling the timing cover on my 22r.I ran into a problem.which way does the oil pump gear go?The one that goes on the crank.Yes, i tried googling it but it doesn't say which way or een have a pic of the crank gear.Thanks

If i understand your question...the gear drive to the pump? It does not matter.
Use some Vaseline or STP in the pump when you assemble it, it helps to prime it.

DUH! what i finally realized was that the entire pump goes on the outside of the timing cover! The gear i was referring to was the one inside the pump.I thought that the small pump gear went in before the timing cover.Sorry for all the confusion.
