Seriously. This stuff gets old. Make up another dumb scenario to get fake worked up over. Dumb.
Not sure, I still think there is something intrinsically wrong with matching up the lithium mining issues with placating North American truck preferences.

I can hike and get me five to ten gallons of gas or Diesel in a couple of gas cans and get my vehicle out of there.
How are you going to do that with electricity?

I think Ram has a solid idea… supposedly the EV is good for 80 miles and then there will be a little onboard genset that kicks in if needed. I know, the result of the genset is about 14 mpg after losses (maybe it will be better?), but for most folks, 80 miles of range is fine for daily use, and the genset provides a huge comfort factor and convenience for interstate travel. The owner gets to have both. Honestly, if I was in the market, that would be my jam.

I usually don't start by complaining about made up situations on the internet assuming everyone is dumb enough to run out of power/fuel in their regular life, not to mention very little electricity is used when not actively pressing the pedal which would be extremely beneficial for longevity in slow offroad crawling situations, unlike a ICE vehicle which would see lots of idling.
Seriously though, how many people do you know that are dumb enough to run out of gas short of a broken fuel gauge? Serious question.

It sounds good in theory, but I feel like everyone forgets the shelf life of fuel.

Is this word salad plus the flying buttress behind the cab a way of saying but not saying its a unibody?
As far as pushing the drivers seat further forward, I really don't have any desire to sit another foot closer to any possible future collision.

They outdid Ford's bed length at the expense of proportions. It looks.... well, strange from the front angle.
I don't think I like it. That light bar design seems to make it look even bigger than it already is.
I really don't like these EV trucks, I don't think that's a shock to anyone. I think the Rivian might be the only one that may make sense due to it's size. It may have some type of practicality to it.

In my opinion I think Rivian's R1S/R1T back ends looks ugly. The weird headlights don't bother me that much and I would say it looks good overall.
Don't get me started on Cybertruck LOL, not my cup of tea.
F150 Lightning looks great because it's basically a regular F150 which, well, looks great
