With regard to the fatal accident rate: It is interesting to note just how much worse some vehicles are when compared to others. I can see how 'vette or 911 owners can push the limits and crash. But the others may highlight vehicle or size/strength deficiencies, such as the Mitsubishi Mirage being near the top of the list. Despite the claim that these vehicles get good government safety ratings.
It would be nice to have a complete list to see where my choices lie. My Jag F-Type may be in the same category as a Mustang or 'Vette. Or maybe not. I don't race anybody with it.
But a Hyundai Venue topping the list at 4.9x worse than average and 6.3x worse than other SUV's, yikes.
