Can't go wrong with a good 5w40 but they tell you 10w30 is the recommendation
I always run a 5W40 HPL and really never look at anything else.
I will eventually graduate to HPL as I use it in other vehicles and in the rear diff currently. I’m using VPBE 5w40 this fill and don’t plan to use 10w30 ever. How many miles on your truck? How long have you been using the HPL?

I’d ask @High Performance Lubricants for exact recommendation based on your use, but it’s hard to go wrong with an HPL 40 grade in just about anything. Best shelf oil is M1 FS 0w40; best “boutique” oil is anything HPL… and 40 grade is about foolproof. 👍🏻

I use HPL 5w30 no vII in my wife’s Camry and 0w30 premium plus as well. I also used 5w30 pcmo in my tundra. I just have this weird aversion to using it in the diesel due to some, off chance, catastrophic failure that FCA tries to pin on anything but themselves (truck currently at dealer for warranty transfer case leak at 4500 miles). I know it’s fantastic oil and I prob need to get over my neuroses and likely will eventually.

The viscosity looks more like 10-30 to me with just over 3K miles on it. Doesn’t look like a Rotella product either with the Moly and low Boron. Just sent a sample in for my 22’ CTD. I’ve been using the VPBE 5-40. Anxious to see how mine is doing.

Curious to see yours, keep me posted. I’m using VPBE 5w40 as well.
