2023 Wrangler JL 2.0 rental review

My wife and I both think that our 2021 Sahara 4xe is actually pretty comfortable. The leather Sahara seats have decent support. As far as power seats go, I don't miss them in the Jeep or in my Club Sport.

I’m a fair amount taller than her - and the angle the Jeep seat travels up and forward is pretty clever - and we don’t fight over who gets memory 1 or 2 like the other rides 😷

I agree, the JL is much more comfortable than it should be for the off road beast that it is.

I’m Jeep shopping now and trying to decide between JK and JL. I’ve heard the JL is actually less spacious than the JK. However, reading this makes it sound like the JL is comfortable, for the most part. I’m 6’ 2”

My YJ’s fun factor made up for the lack of comfort. My new Jeep needs to double as family hauler/spare car.

I was in Florida several months ago so I decided that since I've seen the popularity of Jeep's on the road rising I rented a Wrangler Hardtop Hybrid for the week. I put approximately 750 miles on it during a 3 day rental. Although it wasn't sluggish I found the narrow door opening would take some getting used too. I didn't expect the road noise to be what it was either and appeared to be coming mostly through the hardtop. Also, until I got use to it's handling characteristics it reminded me of driving a go-cart and guess it is due to the short wheel base and with me being accustomed to the longer wheel base full size pickups. Other than that it wasn't bad and am not knocking it or anyone that owns one.

It drives like older SWB PU’s did when they had a Dana 44 and rb steering … They could go to IFS for road warriors - but off-road dominance would end right there …
