10k on truck. I assume this to be its first oil change. This is looking in the plastic oil filter cap.. Looks like excessive metal to me.

I'd like to know exactly what they make out of copper in that engine. If anyone says bearings, you have a serious problem.
Bronze chain tensioner followers, not so much of an issue.

It's the first oil change. Just change it and move on. Dealer is not going to spend time chasing problems that don't exist.

If I had that AMG engine I would never go 10k on an oil change. Maybe with HPL. But people who can afford those vehicles probably don't care about that stuff.

Thank goodness that's not mine, that is way too much metal. I would not have high hopes for that engine in the long run.

FWIW, I think the camera flash probably exacerbates the visual effect of "flakes", not saying there aren't any, but that it's probably not too bad given the fact this is the first oil change.

OP, I would just go about your normal business of replacing the oil & filter. If it keeps you up at night, maybe do an early flush at 5K and check the oil filter pleats. If it looks better, then I would just attribute it to new engine breakin material which is perfectly normal.

If you plan on keeping the beast, perhaps consider 5-6K miles OCI going forward instead of a full 10K; an oil change is far cheaper than a new engine.
