Following Infiniti, Mercedes, and BMW down the path of meaningless numerical model designations. 350 and 500 now mean nothing. They kept the IS designations correct when they downsized the engines, why not continue that?

IS300 = 2.0L 4-banger
IS300 AWD = 3.5L V6 (less power and torque)
IS350 AWD = 3.5L V6 (more power and torque)
IS500 = 5.0L V8

The IS designations are off when it comes to the IS300 and IS300 AWD.

Only the IS350 and IS500 makes sense.

Lexus kept the RX350 for the 4-banger since it's supposed to be equivalent to the old 3.5L V6.
But, note, they didn't call the regular hybrid the 400h, which previously is a V6-hybrid. The RX350h (and +) are in-line with the NX350h/350h+

I don't follow Lexus that closely, wasn't even aware they abandoned the IS200t designation and screwed up the designations for the 3.5.

Looks like a mini van from the side. The back is kinda OK. The front is a disaster.
Ugly. Interior is nice, except all those buttons are ridculous in today's tech world.

Yep. Much preferable over a touch screen especially while driving.
Yeah I mean I like touch screens to an extent and all the apps and junk but I do not like having every single feature confined to the screen and menus and submenus.

Sacrificing functionality for increased profits is anti-consumer and sacrificing functionality for a e s t h e t i c s is stupid
