2022 Tundra Frame Walk Around | Toyota:
I'm sure that's what Tacoma owners thought a decade ago; like my neighbor who had to have his entire frame replaced after a few years. It will last longer than you.
Just read a write up on these. With the new model year price increases (and no added equipment or improvements) the prices on these trucks are all more than the big three. They sell about 30,000 or so units a year. IMHO-The Titan is on death watch.I wonder if these will soon be history. I think even in the good times they were overpriced...
They do have tow hooks

The 2006 Tacoma My son has is showing rust.It will last longer than you.
Still a problem?History lingers for some. Others move on.
I said here numerous times, once things get complicated Toyota is really not good at it. I would not worry about frames as much as engine and access to it. This debacle with wastegate is indicative of a lot of stuff. These things should never happen 300-500 miles into exploitation. Even at 50,000 miles it is an issue. Which tells that they really didn’t do due diligence. I just don’t understand how it is possible for so many failures after they started sale, and that this wasn’t picked up during testing? And location of such part is going to seriously bump used prices of 5.7 V8.It will last longer than you.

Internet does megaphone. But supply chain is irrelevant what I am talking about:It sounds like they have a handle on it but supply chain issues for parts are holding up replacements.
The internet is a megaphone for stuff like this.
Although it does look nicer...Just read a write up on these. With the new model year price increases (and no added equipment or improvements) the prices on these trucks are all more than the big three. They sell about 30,000 or so units a year. IMHO-The Titan is on death watch.
Sadly, that is location dependent and unless the person in question has a short life expectancy, no so for vehicle owners in the North East.It will last longer than you.
Exactly. So much complexity to just get bombarded by road salt.Sadly, that is location dependent and unless the person in question has a short life expectancy, no so for vehicle owners in the North East.
