Welcome to the boring Toyota club. The only action we get is the occasional engine explosion due to bad mechanic work or outright neglect.

I have that engine in a Camry now close to 100,000 miles. Amazing it will put out over 200 HP with no turbo, and gets fantastic mpg's. Mine still doesn't lose any appreciable volume of oil during on OCI, but, I haven't gone more than 7500 miles on an oil...until now. With HPL's 0w20, I'll leave it in the full 10,000 miles. Amazed also how clear the oil stays in this engine. Good job, Toyota! (the electric water pump worries me a bit, though!)

Cheetah50 you should be ecstatic with these results! 6,250 miles and the oil is right in the middle for viscosity, flashpoint and fuel perfect, TBN strong and iron at 8. Awesome.

What make/model oil filter are you using?

Its a Fram Ultra oil filter, though after perusing the oil filter section that particular filter seems to have fallen out of favor for the Endurance model. Not 100% why, I may end up changing to that if I can find the details.

They do for the "Normal" service interval. This one because of the exceptions to "normal" falls outside of the definition, as defined in the manual anyway.
