asking members for a motor oil grade rec when you can't even display your location is rank silly, are you from Key West FL. or International Falls MN.?

Hello, Gentleman.

I am looking for recommendations for a solid 0w20 that would be good for this 1.4 Turbo engine for 10,000 OCI. Thanks in advance.
If i did a lot of short trip driving, there is no way I would go 10k miles with any oil.
Id go 5w-30.

If i remember right, from when he was Tundra73, and asking for recommendations for his Tundra, he’s in Arkansas.

0w20 M1 & Honda filter for my gf's '19 Civic, we're in SoCal. Following the OLM has oil changes before 5k mi on her car. Sees mainly city driving with probably 1 freeway adventure a week. Neat little car. I've checked the oil numerous times & it's right on the same indicator mark as when the oil was changed. No idea on oil dilution as we haven't sent any oil off for analysis. Heck, I don't even know what driving style/conditions contribute to dilution 😂

No short trips. Live by the hwy and drive 108 miles round trip daily on hwy. Go into town just to fill up.

If it was my vehicle and I was going for a 10k interval I would start thicker due to fuel dilution in those engines. So a Euro 5w-30.

I don't know that any one 0w-20 resists dilution better than another. Grab what's on sale.

The car will be much happier with 5k OCI

Excellent suggestion, although even with an oil with an HTHS of 3.5, I’d still want to do a UOA at around 6K before pushing it further. Might be OK since he drives >100 mi/day on highway.

However, the last time he asked for advice on oil, I and several other members suggested going up to a 30W in this same member’s Tundra as well, to no avail.

So, I doubt he’ll accept your suggestion either.
