Great report and with a semi synthetic. Impressive how you gradually increased your OCI with each oil change. What brand of oil filter do you use?
That was more based on the job at hand than a deliberate effort by me... it has been running pretty much constantly 12 or so hours a day six days a week since mid march will probably be up for another change shortly ...
Even though it doesn't "idle" the whole time it is sitting i'm surprised the flashpoint isn't even worse.
Motorcraft. The prior ones are probably here cut open, haven't gotten around to this one.

Motorcraft Oils have such a large representation amongst all the Ford and Lincoln products sold - both new and used.
Yet it's a crying shame the brand (along with AC Delco) is so least represented in auto part stores and places like Walmart. It's got to be the automakers and dealers restricting their brand names from expanding their product lines at auto part stores and places like Walmart.
For many years now, my three closest Walmart only sells Motorcraft semi-syn in 5w20 and nothing else. I don't see anything from AC Delco.

It's probably because Walmart wants to set the retail price and in many cases, wants a discount from the manufacturer. I would venture to say both Ford and GM told Walmart that their wholesale prices to Walmart would not be discounted.
Thus the reason why so little oil gets represented on Walmart shelf...... like one row only....lol

OP: how do you like this engine? What kind of mileage are you getting?
As i said when i start the car in the morning while i am working in the capacity I presently am it pretty much runs all day, a lot of it is idle where it periodically runs to maintain the hybrid battery. So im not sure the numbers are accurate. However as a general rule it indicates that about 25% of it is miles are "Electric Miles". So far i have not found a lifetime running total for this. Only the trip meters seem to show it.
I like it, in fact I like whole car.
If i use it "normally" it gets 40-42ish. I make no special efforts, i do my thing and let it do its thing. I'm sure it would do better if you tried.
Looks like 7500 is your number-fuel just coming up enough (& knocking down visc & FP) to need changed.
